Privacy
Your trail belongs to you.
AniiLogs is an unofficial, independent community project and is not affiliated with Aniimo or its developers. The public map and catalogs work without an account.
Information stored when you sign in
Discord sign-in requests only the identify scope. We store your Discord user ID, username, global display name, avatar identifier, an AniiLogs profile, and a hashed AniiLogs session token. We do not store your Discord password, Discord access token, refresh token, email address, guild list, or messages.
Profiles are private by default. You can choose to make yours public: it then shows at a link with a random ID (never your Discord ID, username, or avatar), titled with your in-game character name, with your about text, linked characters, leaderboard standing, collection progress, the photos you uploaded, and your online status. Your AniiLogs display name stays private unless you turn on Let players find me by my display name: then the public page shows it and the player search matches it. Turning the public profile off removes the page. Player search only finds public profiles, by character name or UID (and display name, if its owner allowed it). Search engines such as Google may list a public profile; turn off List my profile in search engines to ask them not to.
Your theme and your Show my online status choice are kept with your account so the website and the aLogs app follow the same settings.
What the aLogs app adds to your profile
Once you sign in to the aLogs desktop app and link your character (opening the game menu or your Profile in Aniimo proves the character is yours), it sends, for that character:
- its in-game name, UID, level, gender and server, and the Collection Progress numbers from your own Profile screen;
- your Egg Heist season rank and rank points;
- your online status while Aniimo and aLogs run: Online, AFK after 20 minutes away from the game, or Offline. Only the current state and when it was sent are kept, and it counts for 5 minutes. Turn off Show my online status (Edit profile, or the app) and none is kept;
- photos you took in Aniimo, only the ones you pick (or, if you turn it on, new ones automatically), as WebP pictures with when they were taken, the Aniimo in them and the map location. They're kept privately and shown only where your profile is shown; a public profile never shows the UID. Remove a photo in the app to delete it.
The app never sends your Discord sign-in, Windows user name, or anything from outside Aniimo. It listens to Aniimo's audio only during a boss fight, to hear the kill sound, and records nothing.
Leaderboards
Sending records from the aLogs desktop app is optional and off until you turn it on. Leaderboard entries are public: a sent run shows the in-game character it was played on (never your Discord or AniiLogs account name), its score, time and stats, and the names of everyone in the party as the game's result screen shows them, with AI teammates marked. If you choose to attach screenshots in the app, a run's result screenshot (a small 1280×720 picture of the game's own result screen) is public too: anyone can open it from the camera next to the entry. Entries show whether or not profiles are public; a party member's name links to their profile only if they made it public. Deleting your account removes your entries and linked characters.
Problem reports
Report a problem in the aLogs app sends the app's logs (with sign-in data, Windows user and PC names, tokens and email addresses removed), your game UID, the app version, the time, an optional note, and up to 5 screenshots if you add them. No account is needed. Reports are readable only by AniiLogs developers, to fix the problem. The logs and screenshots are deleted once it's fixed, and after 30 days at most; a short line with the note and the developers' notes stays. To limit abuse, a salted hash of your IP address is kept for counting reports, never the address itself.
Progress and browser storage
Without sign-in, tracking, checklist completion, and display preferences stay in your browser. When signed in, the same progress snapshot is synchronized to the account database so it can follow you between browsers. A cloud progress snapshot is limited to 512 KiB.
Short-lived sign-in and sharing records
- Discord sign-in requests expire after 10 minutes.
- One-time browser handoffs expire after 5 minutes and are consumed once.
- A signed-in AniiLogs session expires after 30 days.
- Map share links expire after 3 hours and expose only the selected map pins, never the creator's Discord identity.
Deleting your account
While signed in, choose Delete account and type DELETE. This permanently removes your account identity, profile and its settings, cloud progress, sessions, pending sign-in handoffs, active map shares, leaderboard entries and their screenshots, linked characters with their level, status and collection numbers, and your uploaded photos. Problem reports aren't tied to an account; they're deleted as described above. Browser-only progress remains on that device until you reset browser data in AniiLogs settings.
Infrastructure and project boundaries
Account data is stored in Cloudflare D1 and served by the AniiLogs account API. AniiLogs currently has no advertising or third-party analytics. Private extraction work, raw game packages, packet captures, and protocol files are not published with the website.
The public source is available on GitHub.
